60, But Make It Renaissance

This Renaissance-themed 60th birthday was a true full-circle moment- ten years after planning the same client’s 50th celebration, I was invited back to reimagine the theme with a decade more experience, perspective, and polish.

Inspired by the pageantry and drama of the Renaissance era, the event blended rich textures, historic motifs, and theatrical details with a modern, intentional design approach. While nods to the original celebration remained, this iteration was more refined- thoughtfully layered, visually cohesive, and elevated in both aesthetic and execution.

What made this event especially meaningful was the opportunity to revisit a beloved theme through a more evolved lens. It showcased how timeless concepts can feel entirely new when paired with growth, confidence, and a sharpened eye for detail.

This celebration was a reminder of why I love event planning: the joy of dreaming boldly, designing with intention, and watching an idea come to life- beautifully, seamlessly, and memorably.
